From the lofty peaks of the Shatterstorm Mountains and the Vanguards to the depths of the Avencor Forests and the Ordenwud, from the desolate Dalwyn highlands to the wondrous lakes of Kelladore and Hallowmere, from the shadowed streets of Valenost to the glittering ruins of the Seven Kingdoms of Caerloth, Valedonia is a land of fantasy and adventure, of nobility and warfare, of sorcery and treachery in the halls of power.
Valedonia is a temperate continent of rolling plains, vast forests, snow-capped mountains, and sun-dappled glens. Rivers wind like shining ribbons of silver across its landscape, crumbling ruins dot the hillsides, and bright steel glints in the morning light as knights ride out to do battle with heathen foes. To the north lie soaring mountain ranges and rugged highlands, swept by winds and rain and carpeted in immense conifer woodlands - here dwell the hardy clans of the Dalwyn. South lie verdant hills, open plains, and sweeping grasslands, strewn with gnarled and ancient forests and broad, coiling waterways - this is the great nation of Vallenheim. And in the west are craggy peaks, gleaming lakes, and stunning gorges, overlooked by the ruins of ancient, fallen kingdoms - this is Caerloth, where once seven great lords built a land of wonder.
These are the realms of Valedonia. Here you will find the road to high adventure and the clash of steel on steel as nations ride to war. Here you will find wild barbarian tribes, valorous warriors, and long-forgotten witcheries. Here you will find kingdoms ripe for conquest and thrones for the taking - if you have the wit and courage to meet the challenge.
