Create your promotions!
Submissions are open now and close at midnight PST on 31 March 2013. Sumbit your ideas as images, videos, written word or soundtracks and both promote your faction and win new members to your cause. Stand as a lone champion and craft your own promotion - or join with your brothers and sisters in arms, and work together to create the ultimate faction rallying cry!
Post your ideas in your faction subforum HERE. Create a new thread for your idea – don’t hijack someone else’s thread. Fellow faction members and opponents alike can post responses to each idea as they see fit. And don't be worried if you don't think your idea is fully finished - your faction can help you out! If you think it's a good idea, we want to see it.
Pick the best!
At midnight PST on 31 March 2013, the subforums will be locked and voting will begin. Each faction will select their favourite promotion for that faction. The selected promotion will become the main advert for that faction. Voting will last until midnight PST on 15 April 2013.
Rally your troops!
You can use the whole event to rally support for your faction, starting right now! Once each faction has chosen its promotion, its time for that final push! Between midnight PST on 15 April 2013 and midnight PST on 30 April 2013, each faction can rally around their winning promotions and continue to raise recruits.
The chosen promotion from each faction will be shared, one each day, over all our social media outlets during the last 2 weeks of the campaign. Join forces with your faction and harness the power of social media yourselves. Use our forum, Facebook, Twitter, and all the other wonders of the internet. You can use the following hashtags to raise your banner high: #factionwars and #caerus.
And don’t forget – this is a team competition. Faction members should combine efforts for their common good. Once you’ve chosen your faction’s promotion, you and your fellows need to band together. There is strength in unity – and in the Faction Wars, only the strong will survive!
Winning
At midnight PST on 30 April 2013, the competition closes. Prizes will be awarded as follows:
• Best Faction - On each continent, the faction with the most new members will win 150 forum gold.
• Best Continent - The continent that gains the most new members overall will win a further 150 forum gold for each faction on that continent.
Once Embers of Caerus launches, forum gold will be used to provide a boost to your faction’s starting city – so the more you have, the better your faction at start of play!
