Yup, same here. Just gotta secure the name first. I'm paranoid like that...

Not really hardcore RP'er, I'm more of a practical "In the moment" RP'er :P

Anyway, I made the thread just so we can write some of our characters stories really Not a full blown RP scenario :P

I started my RP stuff in a different thread. I have one poem and part of a short story so far.
    Short Story: http://www.embersofcaerus.com/forum/...-Frozen-Wastes
    Poem: http://www.embersofcaerus.com/forum/.../1653-Aald-Vim
Lonely wind that sweeps the white, Silent stars which keep the night.
Crystal clear and ever cold, Sheathed in hoarfrost - lands of old.
Cowe the light of distant sun, Borne not with my bidding, come.
Face the darkness, here at last. Winter's come with wintry grasp.

The night seemed longer than usual, as he pondered the stars. The waves softly rolled him back and forth. Every few moments he would glance at the notepad in his lap and jott down a few lines of poetry, as inspired by whatever he saw in the expanse of the horizon. He was skillful in his ability to predict the future, he was a stargazer. a sailor. It took powerful instincts to excel in his trade. If someone called him lucky, he would be forced to heartily disagree. He would be damned if another captain were ever able to beat him in a race along the coast of Aaldnarech.

Soreyl was not a wealthy man. He had a peculiar business of transporting residents of Aaldnarech to-and-fro. Unlike many of others in these uncertain times, the quarrels of his brethren did not concern him, and his business was for any that desired his company. Some would call him an odd fellow. It seemed that he was so enthused with living that his guard was always down; In fact, he seemed to believe every person honest.

Captain Lorelei Soreyl, a man of many claims that no man could coincide. He wasn’t a liar, just a florid storyteller. Mystery enthralled him, and surrounded him, and nearly choked him once or twice, but he always managed to escape near tragedy.
