Hey guys!
Starting today, and building on the initiative I mentioned in our kickstarter video update, we are officially starting the "I give a buck about sandbox gaming!" campaign!
Whether someone gives $1, or $1000, we want everyone to show their support for Sandbox gaming. We need numbers now to show the world exactly how much the gaming community is desparate for a true sandbox MMO game on the market.
How can I help?
Well thats simple. First, if you haven't already donated to our kickstarter campaign, and dont feel comfortable putting a larger sum of money into our project, just donate $1! We have added a $1 reward to our rewards list, so you can show your support of indie games, and Sandbox gaming.
Next, help us spread the word! Ask all your friends "Do you give a buck about sandbox gaming?". Add the slogan to your signature, to your facebook statuses, to your twitter profiles! (making sure you link to our kickstarter page) Tag your twitter feeds with #igiveabuck, and lets get trending!
On most forums, to add your "I give a buck" link to your signature, you simply need to use the following (removing the *):
[*url=http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/forsakenstudios/embers-of-caerus-investor-prototype]"I give a buck about sandbox gaming!"[/url]
Also, for anyone interested, we encourage you to create graphics, forum signatures, and any other publicity material to promote the "I give a buck about sandbox gaming!" campaign!
Thanks again for all your support so far, now lets get some big numbers showing their support for true sandbox games!

Great idea
Lee - In 10 years time you will be seeing every other games developer trying to clone our game. People saying the EoC clones. In 10 years time you will still be playing EoC

So... who's the first one to combine that with the "I'd buy that for a dollar!" guy from RoboCop?

Best of luck, sounds like a much needed campaign.
In our game, you are just another citizen of the world, and becoming a hero is something you achieve through your own actions, and something you earn. We provide the world, and the opportunities, while you write your own story - Dave Belcher
