Will there be a way for people from other lands to contest that resource of sky metal or is it a regional thing?

The DET team is tied closely to all other teams, so as larger story arcs unfold they can request any new content that is required. Most of the larger story arcs will be planned well before they happen, so we should be able to sneak in additional assets during minor patches, and give the DET the tools to reveal the new content at the right time.

Well there is nothing negative to be said about this, an awesome feature.
I bet there will be local and regional events that lead into world wide events, perhaps with DET spawned ships that arrive in large ports to take people from all lands to a single location...for mass mutilation followed by tea and crumpets
And we have to agree not to share
I have the body of an 18 year old.....I keep it in the fridge

Very nice.
Great events sound good, but to be honest i like the part more, that the team can interfear in small things and keep the world living as well
I get more and more excited
