bed rolls were taken out in early beta...just like rolling trebs

re: hostile city...you are correct...UNLESS you planted a treb inside the walls, which you could then have your hold guild log out on, and since it counted as guild friendly property, you logged back in at it. I don't think they fixed this tillnear the end of corruption.

and again, just some points to ponder...as it ties to everything else. can you kos people? kingdoms? what happens when you do? vendors turn you away? what happens if you're kos'd while in the town and logged off? Will town owners have a tool too 'evict' all non-friendly toons?, etc. etc. etc.

it's always just the itty bittty things that cause the most problems when someone figures out how to put them to nefarious purpose.

Naaah, you know gameplay has to come first, this is too realistic, if I am in a town that I have a bounty at and I have to log out immidiately because something came up am I going to find myself in jail...
Well you'd probably have to enter the town disguised to get in in the first place. But maybe players could rent out hidden rooms that guards can't find and require players to sniff them out. Though I guess if there are more x amount of beds in a certain area the guards would see players going to a from them and get suspicious., limiting the number of players to however much the underground economy can afford to support

Then bedrolls weren't in Shadowbane, were they?

Someone let a treb from an unfriendly guild stay inside their city? They deserved to lose the city then. Obviously no guards or walls.

Well in Shadowbane you had guilds on KOS who the guards would attack and the vendors wouldn't sell to them. If you were KOS you wouldn't respawn inside the town, but at the nearest neutral bindstone. Instant evict. It also did that if you were bound at a tree that was captured. My guild had one of the best city planners in Shadowbane. I hope he decides to take a look at EoC.

Sure they were. After all, the beta stage wasn't called "Hello Kitty Online Adventure," it was the beta for Shadowbane...they just didn't stay in the game.

PS - If it's already been brought up then forgive me...as I've said before, I'm gettin' older so the ol' grey matter's gettin' a little clogged and forgetful.

If it ain't in the Gold, it ain't in the game. Alpha and Beta are just dress rehearsals. And don't be dissing on Hello Kitty Online. The pvp was awesome.

    rofl

And to defend Dubanka, he didn't actually state that it was "in the gold," therefore he's correct in stating that bedrolls were in Shadowbane at one point...but me-thinks we could debate that one for a while.
