That's what I said, Booby Traps

Other than a hunter putting out traps for his prey (animals), would I be able to booby trap my abode so as to prevent intruders from trespassing? If a trap kills another player, would it be that same as if I killed him from a negative consequence standpoint?

this should really go in the questions forum.

answering the question. I don't know. The devs are planning traps for dungeons but that is all I've heard.

    Moved it for you.

As for the topic, I hope we can. It seems like a fun thing to have. I would assume that injuring or killing a trespasser would likely not be a crime, but might just bring you to the attention of the local law enforcement for watching for a time.

It should be up to the owner of the territory, but if it was my decision I'd make it completely legal. While I like the idea of pits and stuff I hope we'd be able to get magi to set up magic traps.

This is just my recollection of what was said in the New Year's podcast but I seem to recall that Lee mentioned for every pit trap he'd need to have two models for the same area. I'd have to go back and listen to it, or read it, again to be certain but it struck me as something that would put a fair bit of stress on the team. As I said, that's my recollection and my words so until a Red Name says something take it with a grain of salt.

PS - If it's already been brought up then forgive me...as I've said before, I'm gettin' older so the ol' grey matter's gettin' a little clogged and forgetful.

We have found a solution and it won't be a huge issue adding pit trap modules now.

There is still a lot that goes into the addition of a pit-trap, so we can't make promises at this time.

I actually think Skinwalker just wanted to try and get away with putting "Booby" in the subject of a thread
