A couple of factors tie into that. Fraps certainly doesn't help, but also we have everything turned on to MAX with very little optimisation, so while it is pretty smooth to play through, any minor jitter is emphasised by Fraps.

Like we said, this is purely an asset/engine test, after six weeks working with the Vision engine. It will only get better from here

it felt quite Mortal-ish cause of graphics, music and trees. i love it. character models are even better then mortal imho, keep up the good work!

may i ask the system specs you ran it with max settings? just curious :P i know you'll do a lot of optimization but it would be nice to know the specs you used.

Well I shot the video and my PC is I7 4.4ghz, 16gig DDR3 and a GTX580 OC. But don't let that worry you as others like our lead environment artist can run it perfectly on a far lower spec. Also that said in the debug mode we need to optimize it in a fair few unseen areas which we were not overly concerned about right now for the video. Hope that helps
