    The Order of the Shadows

Sit down and let me tell you a story,
about The Order of the Shadows.

You have probably seen a member,
    and not have known it.

    They walk in the shadow,
staying from the light of the world.

    Balancing the power to destroy,
    and the power to create.

    Forming weaves,
that shake the earth and create fire.

    So, are you intrigued?

    A better explination
-This is an order of magi, ruled by a circle of elders.
-There are 9 Paths in the order, one for each element of magic and one solely for construction, crafting, and trade based magic
-The Path you choose in the order will be based on what element of magic you will mainly use (except crafting, that uses all but mainly for crafting reasons)
-The order of rank is Elder->Bound->Initiate-> Apprentice, each path has their own Elder who cannot make decisions for the other Paths without it having been passed by a majority vote by the counsel
-Only an Apprentices are not a part of a Path but may choose one upon moving up to Initiate
-The Order will not be a true political body as much as a school for magi, but it will be somewhat a mixture of both
-Regulation of members of a Path shall be dictated by the Path's Elder, but if it gets too bad then, with a popular vote, the counsel will step in
    Initial rules of the order
    1. dont kill a fellow member
    2. listen to the elders
    3. dont do anything to endanger the order
    4. dont steal from fellow members
    5. actions acceptable to factions will be dictated by the elders.
    Other
It is unknown as of yet if we will have a city or tower to call home, but once the game goes into beta it shall be put on a to do list.
There shall be traditional outfits for formal events such as graduations and other formal events, but those will be made some point in beta.

(sorry, will have to finish this on a later date.)
(actively recruiting, even now, since it is only me at the moment.)

When all else fails to solve a problem, use legions of undead. When legions of undead are the problem, sit back and watch how many people die before it ends.

I am still trying to figure out a few things, and editing this at a very slow rate. Slower than I had hoped.

Nice I like what you have done here, if not directly connected in some way with you maybe an occasional alliance and some tales at the inn then. Hope to see you later when the world is in motion........

You can't expect to recruit people before the game has even released.

In our game, you are just another citizen of the world, and becoming a hero is something you achieve through your own actions, and something you earn. We provide the world, and the opportunities, while you write your own story - Dave Belcher

You'd be surprised. Quite a few new guilds spring up before a game, then they'll get together in other games to get their team-building and cohesion going, so that they're not fumbling about on release trying to figure out who does what. I was part of one such guild for a previous game, it did wonders.
