    Turning your head

    Hello there!

The "sprinting" thread gave me the idea to start this topic.

What I propose is, that you can turn your head while walking/running. If possible with an animation, so people are able to tell in which direction you are looking.

Combined with a slower speed if moving side-or backwards this could add to a more immersive first person gameplay. My favourite example is ARMA 2, cause moving in this game feels really realistic and just "right!

Imagine charging the enemy and being able to watch left and right to see you fellow soldiers at your side - without weird looking sidesteps and backpaddeling.

ps: Hints on english and grammer are allways welcomed!

I would love to be able to look epicly over the carnage of a scorched and/or burning city. Now we just need epic poses!
When all else fails to solve a problem, use legions of undead. When legions of undead are the problem, sit back and watch how many people die before it ends.

Definitely a good idea, would be a godsend for RP'ers and Machinima makers.

Sorry its taken me so long to reply to this thread, but I will say I have thought about this from the very beginning when we started working on EoC. It is defiantly something I want in but of course would need Dave's approval.

So keep your fingers crossed, I know it can be done as I am also an ARMA2 fan, but in an MMO it maybe different I just don't know.
Lets see what Dave says eh?
