I don't really see a reason to have a player run banking system unless it is a player created township, with players being on and off line this would be a serious hindrance to the system.

here, here, now this will go along way to set up the first fine trading in cities for merchants......

I love a story and this will be nice to see along the way while waiting for the game........

The Idea here is to come up with new resources for crafting with along with new ways of crafting from all around the world. That would put the guild in a unique position as an exclusive proprietor...

Will still be looking for other crafters who have the passion of creating and exploring the world....

There hasn't been much info on Magic in the game yet so who knows the danger that will happen to the lonley mage.

there are many who want to try the task of the magi, some even looking to create loose guild of the magi. Look around and see what is already out there. Magi will be the most difficult to play in...

Still this would work for An exploration guild looking for buried loot and knowledge. A Magi would be a benefit for this purpose don't you think.

As long as open trade is still encouraged then I am still on track with peaceful trading.....

This could be based on power of the spell, special area or nexus in casting of the spell, with personal skill = Power of casting.

It will be interesting to see if a religion will last in any area for long with changing tides and all, but if a religion is particularly Overt then it is time to dwindle the worshipers down then...

This would be good on a limited amount, but can flood the systems with persistent magic items that are without durability or charge limits.

This would be contrary to the belief of magi are a disaster.

I agree as long as the penalties are applied well, then one would not overdue the layering or be a hitting dummy in the court yard for beginners

Single schools may be more powerful in the long run for that element, but lack the diversity that multiple schools in combination can provide such as the example of Meteor Swarm.
